I know it has been quite awhile since I have posted anything on this blog, so I thought I would post a few pics of what I have been up to over the last couple of months.

I did my first ever senior portrait session and had a blast. Nicki was so photogenic and her pictures turned out really well.



Next we have some friends of mine, who asked me to do their engagement pictures. They are such a cute couple and were major troopers that day. We went to their campus at UT Arlington and got out of the truck and the tempature gauge said it was 105! We were out there maybe an hour and we were all sweating so bad but no complaints from the happy couple! It was funny because I saved some poses I wanted to try until last because they involved getting down in the grass (one of them shown below). By this point they were both red-faced and sweaty, but it turned out to be one of my favorite pics of the day.

Finally, we have the most recent wedding that I have added to my repitiore. This was another very sweet couple. The groom went to school with my brother and me so it was very special to be to be apart of their big day.

Look back for more soon. I have another wedding scheduled for September and my son is involved in football so I hope to get some good action shots. I'm working on getting some business cards made up so I'm going to try to start keeping up with this blog a little more. My goal is to post at least once a month (that shouldn't be too hard to accomplish).

Red and Black is so classic and elegant......

This is from a wedding I shot a few weeks ago. This couple was so fun to work for and their 2 kids are adorable! Thanks Jennifer & Joey for allowing me to shoot your wedding. I hope you enjoy your pictures from your very special day. It was absolutely beautiful!!

The month of July has been busy. We went on vacation to Houston and Galveston a few weeks ago and most of these pictures are from then. I also have a few pictures of my friend, Fran's granddaughter and the kittens in her backyard. I am going to try to help her find homes for them.

Last night I had the pleasure of taking pictures for the Bowie High School, Class of 1977, 31 year reunion. There were around 36 classmates that came, and I think that everyone had a really good time catching up. There were some of the people that had not seen each other since high school!

The Monkies

These little "monkies" as we lovingly call them are my friend's grandkids. This was their last day of swim lessons and Fran wanted me to come along to take pictures of them while she videoed. They are super cute and I think they had a ton of fun learning how to swim. The two of them are truly like little fish. Maybe Fran should start calling them little fish instead of little monkies! I had a blast taking these because these little girls are so photogenic!
